About the Ranch:
Established in 1952, this cattle ranch specializes in raising Angus beef through a cow-calf operation. While preserving its foundational values, the ranch has integrated modern advancements in genetics, grazing management, and technology.
Herd Management & Breeding Program:
Herd management has been the ranch’s most significant improvement, leading to greater weaning weights. The breeding program emphasizes maternal traits and carcass quality, utilizing a crossbreeding strategy of 1/4 Simmental and 3/4 Angus. This approach has resulted in improved growth rates and carcass consistency.
Grazing & Sales Strategy:
The ranch employs rotational grazing to enhance pasture health and herd efficiency. Beef is marketed directly to the customer in the form of burger bundles, 1/4, 1/2, and whole portions. All processing is conducted at a USDA-approved facility, ensuring high-quality standards that build customer trust.
Future Plans:
With increasing demand, the ranch plans to expand its herd size to continue providing high-quality, locally raised beef.
